ZTR Control Systems Introduces the NEXSYS™ III-i Mother-Daughter Module

ZTR Control Systems Awarded Important Contract with DB Schenker Rail, Germany

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Today, ZTR Control Systems, a leader in control systems for locomotive modernization and equipment monitoring, announced a new contract with DB Schenker Rail, Germany. ZTR will supply over 300 SmartStart® Automatic Engine Start-Stop systems to DB Schenker Rail, Germany by early 2015. The contract calls for systems that are EN50155 certified, as required by European railway standards. The deal was signed at InnoTrans 2014 on September 23, 2014 and installation on DB Schenker’s BR294 locomotive fleet has already begun.

ZTR Replaces Old Load Regulators in Switcher Locomotives with New Technology

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The ZTR Locomotive ELC (Electronic Load Regulator) is a low cost way for switcher locomotives to improve reliability and adhesion. Old load regulators in switcher locomotives can be difficult to maintain, durability is a constant issue, and quality spare parts are harder to find. The ZTR Locomotive ELC (Electronic Load Controller) replaces old load regulators, while also delivering performance and diagnostic improvements to make a difference in switcher operations.

The First EPA-Certified AESS System Now Provides Emissions Reduction Reporting
