The New Standard of Locomotive Radio Remote Controls

The Nova family of radio remote controls from ZTR Control Systems is lightweight, compact and ergonomically designed for ease of use and portability. Many safety features have been built-in to the Nova transmitters including a hand held safety switch allowing other people around the locomotive to disable the system and apply the emergency brake. A tip sensor has also been designed to sense if the transmitter has been dropped. In the case that the transmitter is dropped, the emergency brake will be automatically applied.

Nova is compatible with SmartStart® and can be packaged with our proven solutions including BOA™, for advanced wheel slip control, and NEXSYS™ locomotive control systems.
